Dear Parents,
I am pleased to say that we will be welcoming Ms Service back to work on Wednesday of next week. She has made a good recovery and is looking forward to returning to school.
As you will know from this term?s newsletters we have had a busy and often exciting time in school with much to celebrate. I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for the support and goodwill I have received over this period, which has been a challenging one for the school, given the absence of both Ms Service and Miss Lowrey.
As we begin to welcome our new P1 pupils and parents and prepare for the departure of our P7?s to secondary school life, we look ahead to our next school session. I have therefore attached a staffing list for session 07/08, for your information.
Returning to the present however, the three remaining weeks of term promise to be as busy and as enjoyable as those which have already passed. Thank you again for your continued support and co-operation.
Pupil Reports
Pupil reports will be sent out on Monday. We hope you enjoy reading them and will be happy to receive feedback on the comment sheets which will accompany them. Our new computer system will only generate one report per pupil. Anyone requiring an additional copy should contact the school office.
Mrs Rutherford will send out reports for her P6 & P7 pupils. She will offer an extra parental consultation for pupils from P1 ? P5 if they wish to see her this term.
She will be available to meet parents on:
Wednesday 20th June 2.30pm ? 4.30pm
Thursday 21st June 2.30pm ? 4.30pm
Friday 22nd June 9.00am ? 10.30am
Please pop in during those times.
Parent Council
A draft Constitution for the proposed Parent Council has now been circulated to all families for consideration. There will be a meeting to finalise the constitution on Thursday 14th June at 7.30pm in the school hall. This is an opportunity for everyone to have their say in the final constitution. Please make every effort to attend. Many thanks to our PTA convener David Manson who has driven this forward.
